** Also subverted with the Dark Avengers; they each apparently view themselves as the archenemies of their Avenger counterparts, but aside from the Thor/Loki fight, the [[Final Battle]] doesn't involve any of the counterparts pairing off ([[Opponent Switch|which was the Avengers' plan]]).
