In 1986, [[DC Comics]] made comic book history by rebooting their entire continuity in ''[[Crisis Onon Infinite Earths]]''. Character histories were changed, merged in from other continuities, or even restarted from scratch. The [[Post-Crisis]] [[DC Universe]] would never be the same.

Barbara Gordon has also recovered from her paralysis and become Batgirl again, booting Stephanie Brown from the role.
