* In March of 1969 Prosenjit Poddar met Tatiana Tarasoff and began to pursue her romantically. She was not interested in him and rejected his marriage proposal. Poddar became despondent and told his roommate that he wanted to blow up Tarasoff's house. Poddar began to stalk Tarasoff and in October 1969, found her home alone and killed her.
