She wanted to return the focus to Penny and Aggie, as it was in the beginning, whereas he wanted to tell stories about several of the remaining supporting characters as well as the title characters.

** Aggie's affectionate joke about Nick and Duane playing a game, "Two nerds enter, one nerd leeeaves!", is an allusion to the arena spectators' chant in ''[[Mad Max]]: Beyond Thunderdome''.
