* [[Theme Naming]]: Everybody in the Ryouzanpaku has "-ketsu" in their name.

* [[Those Two Guys]]: Togashi and Toramaru are relegated into this trope as the manga goes on. They do most of the [[Combat Commentator|commentary]], dramatically announce the name of the next battler, and such. Lampshaded quite a few times.
