* Buddy does this in ''[[Elf (Film)|Elf]]''.

* Twyla does this in ''[[Discworld (Literature)/Hogfather|Hogfather]]''. Susan considers this to be part of her [[Deliberately Cute Child|"ingratiatingly cute" persona]], claiming "real children don't go hoppity-skippity unless they're on drugs".

* ''[[Doctor Who (TV)|Doctor Who]]'': The little girl in "Remembrance of the Daleks" skips around town {{spoiler|when she's not plugged into the Dalek battle computer}}. She's not exactly "innocent", though.

* ''[[My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (Animation)|My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic]]'': Pinkie Pie skips more often than she walks. Though without the arm-swinging as she doesn't really have any. Given that she is a quadruped, the way she skips looks like bouncing.
