** Max really IS a powerful Necromancer and later a Greek god, as he assures everybody he meets. This feat just pales in comparison to all the [[Reality Warper]]s and other powerful beings around him. This does not stop him from thinking that he is still the hottest thing in the Multiverse, though.
** [[Mortal Kombat|Shao Kahn]](in this game) pretty much embodied this trope. Most of the time, anyway.
