Line 1:
work
* And the Fandom Rejoiced: The announcement of the movie.
* Cleaning Up Romantic Loose Ends: As of Episode 18, the show may be shaping up to this with Keito and Sugata... or maybe not.
* Crowning Music of Awesome: Boy, howdy.
** All four maiden songs.
** Both openings and endings ("Gravity 0" merits special mention).
** The bombastic, lively instrumental rock played during the combat sequences.
** Satoru Kousaki's score
* Die for Our Ship: Takuto/Mizuno shippers hate Wako with all the fervor they posess.
** ...Or pair her with Sugata.
* Ear Worm: A vast majority of the music in the series falls under this.
* Ensemble Darkhorse: A few. These include: Kanako Watanabe, Mizuno, Marino, Sakana-chan, and Sarina. In some cases they are far more popular than the main characters.
* Fan Nickname: The North Maiden is commonly just referred to as "Fish Girl".
* Fan -Preferred Couple:
** Sugata/Takuto. Even amongst the actual characters.
** Takuto/Mizuno is also liked in some circles, although they seem to be oblivious to the fact that he doesn't return her crush. Then again, a Fan -Preferred Couple needs no justification.
* Fashion Victim Villain: Between the Science Guild's pear-shaped clown outfits, Kou and Madoka's enormous nipple-plugs, and Ryousuke's man-thong and see-through body-stocking, the Order of the Glittering Crux has something for everyone.
* Fetish Fuel Station Attendant: Takuto is very popular with the ladies of both Southern Cross Isle and the internet.
* Freud Was Right: Episode 9. Sugata tells Takuto to be careful because his kendo sword is a bit longer, while holding it out in front of Takuto. Generally, much of the show could qualify, as it's about a group of teenagers trying to "break the seals" of "pure maidens" to unleash their hidden powers.
* Magnificent Bastard: Kanako Watanabe
* Memetic Mutation:
** FABULOUS!
Line 28 ⟶ 29:
* Nightmare Fuel: Pretty much everything about Ayingott.
** Madoka's "3.5" fusion with Hegent in episode 21 makes Ayingott seem cute and cuddly by comparison. Uncanny Valley combined with the most blatantly psychotic character in the series? No thank you.
* I Knew It!: Keito being a Maiden.
** Marino being a Tomato in Thethe Mirror.
** Head being Takuto's father.
** Sugata eventually being a member of the Glittering Crux.
* OT 3OT3: Since listing specific examples would take up most of the page, let's just say that this show has a lot of Takuto/Wako/Sugata Ship Tease and leave it at that.
** The end of the series points towards this, especially with Wako's line of . Neither Takuto nor Sugata seem to mind.
* The Scrappy: Madoka and Kou are two of the least liked characters in the anime, mostly because they show up out of nowhere in the middle of the series, aren't really developed at all, and spend about 4 episodes stealing away screentime from other characters that could have used the development.
* Squick:
** The infamous Gag Sub "Please do not imitate rapists" didn't help.
** Episode 19 provides another disturbing incident, in the form of our resident Depraved Bisexual Madoka
** Also,
*** And that Head knows this too. Yeesh.
* What an Idiot!: Professor Green's defeat by Takuto was rather Face Palm inducing.
* The Woobie: It's a tossup as to whose life sucks more: Simone, Mizuno, Sora, or Ryousuke
* WTH Costuming Department: The female members of Vanishing Age. The outfits they wear, complete with skintight spandex, and metal bat nipples, make the outfits the regular female members of the Crux wear look almost sensible.
** Sugata's Glittering Crux outfit. And I'm not even touching on those peacock feathers either.
* Space Whale Aesop: use a condom, otherwise, when having an affair with a girl you are just going to abandon, you will more than likely engender the one person capable of defeating you and ruin your evil plans.
