Then again, considering the nature of her mother (see Washuu's [[Abusive Mom]] entry below), the fact that she was locked in a tomb for 700 years, and spent a good amount of time before that as a psychotic killing machine massacring millions if not billions for Kagato, her options were probably either tears or [[Stepford Smiler]]. Probably both.

** Subverted in the first episode of the ''Universe'' canon, where she just plays the part in order to get Tenchi and his folks on her side.
