* [[No One Gets Left Behind]]: [[Justified Trope|Justified]] that he'd have this instinct since he is a cadet. When the other Maggots are captured by the spider, Jo tells him to ignore it for once, finish, and come in first, winning the challenge in "Finders Creepers." He does make it to the end first, but it turns out that the team with the ''most members'' across wins, so if he had ignored Jo and followed his instinct to rescue his teammates, the Maggots would've won.
