Maybe it's just because they're about the same height, build, and age, are both totally bald, and both wear glasses, but Yelena's dad honest-to-God looks like he's Spider's nerdy, easygoing older brother.

* Why weren't Spider's eyebrows fried off? I mean, all right, he'd look stupid without eyebrows, but it seems that he was permanently, aggressively manscaped by the shower frying off his hair. See [http://i51.tinypic.com/1z1bgb4.png here], and note the fact he previously had hair on his arms and legs but it's now gone. It's amazing that his eyebrows survived.
