It knocks the Monado out of Mumkhar's hand, sends him sprawling and takes out Metal Face in a single blow, leaving everyone free to kick Mumkhar's ass (which is itself pretty awesome).}}
** Though this could have been an instance of {{spoiler|subconcious [[Murder the Hypotenuse]]}}; She {{spoiler|disregarded the safety of the girl she knew her crush liked}}, which would mean the girl might end up out of the picture, and in doing so helped the party. Two birds with one stone.
*** Unlikely. Melia isn't quite as much of a [[The Messiah|Messiah]] as Shulk, but dammit, she's trying.
* Otharon {{spoiler|blasting Xord into the ether river}} with a point-blank shot to the [[Boom! Headshot!|head]]. And immediately after that, {{spoiler|Reyn pulling off an epic save and changing Shulk's vision when he prevents Otharon from dying}}.
* Near the end of the game, {{spoiler|Shulk suddenly [[He's Back|regaining his senses]] and racing to the rescue, leaping onto a Telethia and cutting it in half.}}
