Sometimes writers who make adaptations change aspects of plots and characters to the point where they [[Not As You Know Them|remove most of the characters' qualities]], or even to the point where you don't recognize them and say ''[[Character Derailment|they DESTROYED them]]''. To many fans, every aspect of a character's personality, ability, etc. should be preserved. Sometimes writers do this for the fans....with a catch.
