* Misspellings: <code><nowiki>[[Magical Grrl]]</nowiki></code> to [[Magical Girl]]
* Abbreviations: <code><nowiki>[[WoT]]</nowiki></code> to ''[[The Wheel of Time]]''.
* Specific examples: <code><nowiki>[[KMF]]</nowiki></code> to [[Humongous Mecha]]
* Plurals: Regular plurals can be linked just by appending an "s" or "es" to the normal markup. For example, <code><nowiki>[[Game Breaker]]s</nowiki></code> becomes [[Game Breaker]]s. Handle irregular plurals with the usual link text option.
* Definite articles that aren't part of a work title: <code><nowiki>[[The Tsundere]]</nowiki></code> to [[Tsundere]].
