A number of subsequent entries into his series were voiced by Grace Stafford (1903-1992) and Bonnie Baker (1917-1990). Averted in the shorts where Willy is voiced by [[Daws Butler (Creator)|Daws Butler]] (1916-1988).

Butler was also familiar to fans as the voice of Loopy de Loop, ''[[Quick-Draw McGraw]]'' and Baba Looey, [[The Huckleberry Hound Show|Huckleberry Hound]] (who had the same southern drawl as Smedley), [[Yogi Bear (Animation)|Yogi Bear]] and Snagglepuss, Wally Gator, Peter Potamus, etc.
