First off, a guilty plea is accompanied by a full confession of the alleged crime and its circumstances from the defendant, which would contain precisely the 'evidence of self-defense' that that FAQ claims was never be introduced. Second: a judge cannot use evidence from a defendant's statement during a plea-bargain against that defendant while simultaneously reneging on the terms of the plea.
