@Cliffc999: I'm sure this is an oversight, but this file that you just uploaded yesterday is missing a bunch of important information -- not the least of which is the license under which it is to be used here. It is a legal requirement that we include the licensing terms for every image added to the wiki. I refer you to All The Tropes:Uploading and Adding an Image to a Page, especially the Licensing section. Where you got the image, and a better description of what it is so we can replace it if it is somehow lost (as we lost so many images during the hacking of Orain and the host change several years ago)

Now you've been a member of the wiki for five years, so I'm sure this is just an oversight. But because this is a "put the wiki at risk" level issue, I'm required by our moderator guidelines to issue you a formal warning that continued uploading without legally required information and/or leaving this image without licensing information is grounds for a punitive tempban. (And in the latter case, deletion of the image as well.)

Ah, okay. The source of the image is the Girl Genius website, cropped from the February 7, 2018th comic, and its fair use.

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

Please put that information -- with URLs, if possible -- and the {{fairuse}} template -- on the file page.

That's perfect! Thank you!

"guess" and "hint" are zero-content descriptions

On the Honor Harrington page, I changed:

to:

You changed it to:

  • Action Mom: Take a wild guess. Hint: her name is on the cover of the book.

So, her name is Basilisk Station? That's on the cover of the book.

Don't make us guess. Don't drop hints. Tell us.

OK, for the record, the first entry ("hint)" wasn't even mine, so I'm not going to take the blame for it. I was actually trying to /fix/ it. I figured 'its the person the series is named after' would be explicit enough for anyone. Apparently not. Well, change it to whatever you like then.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

I don't know what to change it to - I've never read the book. It appears you have.

Is it really so difficult to type in a character's name?
