  • The entire mechanical apartheid is a massive avalanche of this trope for every innocent aug on the planet. Two years prior, over 70% of them went insane for a reason they never understood, turned into unwilling people of mass destruction, and because they became guilty for a crime they never wanted to commit, they are now treated as subhuman freaks to be brutalized and abused and shoved into filthy ghettos.
