The "wikia.com" rebrand to "fandom.com" subtly changes the meaning of some names;While a "microsoft.wikia.com" conjures up images of unreliable (as user-supplied content) but at least semi-factual information about Microsoft applications, while "microsoft.fandom.com" suggests that the site is merely fanboy boosterism of Microsoft vs. Linux and of no educational value whatsoever. And then there was the attempt to rebrand the Cancer Support wiki to "cancer.fandom.com"... enough said?
