Line 98:
* In American Dad, Steve tells Stan and Francine that he saw Roger heading into Stan's study with a watermelon and a giant hammer. Francine, thinking Roger has a good explanation, asks Stan if it's Gallagher Day. Stan angrily asks her "do you see a Gallagher Tree, Francine?!"
* Edipan in The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, a week long event where all magical beings are on vacation, and that includes June herself. Unfortunately, she has the bad luck to run into a grouchy giant who doesn't observe the holiday - and he doesn't like Labor Day much either.
* Two of them in My Little Pony: Fighting Is Magic:
** Summer Sun Celebration, appearing in part two of the pilot. Held on the Summer Solstice, it commemorates the battle where Princess Celeste defeated and imprisoned Nightmare Moon, restoring the sun to Equestria. It's not exactly a happy occasion for Celeste herself, as she long regrets having done so. Notably, the episode where the holiday takes place is where Luna is finally released and redeemed.
** Nightmare Night (in the episode “Luna Eclipsed”) is the Pony version of Halloween, and much like such has trick or treating, candy, and costumes. Much like Halloween it is a frivolous holiday with origins in a more serious event, where the candy represents offerings made to Nightmare Moon to convince her to stay away. The episode takes place after the aforementioned episode with Summer Sun Celebration, so unlike most rituals intended to appease evil spirits, the "guest of honor" is welcome to personally attend.
