Or... Hm. I'm going to have to look into templates now. Maybe we can incorporate a conditional display of a header into the template? I dunno. You guys are the experts. -- [[User:Looney Toons|Looney Toons]] ([[User talk:Looney Toons|talk]]) 15:47, 20 November 2013 (UTC)}}
::And after a little research, modifying the template seems possible, but discouraged by at least the Wikipedia documentation for reflist. One reason (no standard section title) seems to be irrelevant in our little domain, as we'll be setting the ATT standard; the other (edit link that would open the template itself) seems avoidable with the right "magic word" if some of the other pages I saw are any indication. For the moment, at least, I'll let it lie there and see what discussion brings forth. -- [[User:Looney Toons|Looney Toons]] ([[User talk:Looney Toons|talk]]) 16:05, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
::I just added a "Notes" section to the template as a test. I originally wnted to do this anyway, but I didn't because Vorticity wasn't sure it would look good. However, changing it was really easy, so let me know what you think of the change and if we should keep or revert it. [[User:GethN7|GethN7]] ([[User talk:GethN7|talk]]) 17:13, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
::: Yeah we had this whole discussion before, and then the working copy got deleted along with the rest of our content. The solution was to restore the edit to [[MediaWiki:Cite references prefix]], which will draw up a Notes header whenever the <references /> tag is actually rendered. That is, when there are actually notes in the text. <nowiki>{{reflist}}</nowiki> will otherwise be an empty template.[[User:Vorticity|Vorticity]] ([[User talk:Vorticity|talk]]) 19:21, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
:::Fantastic! Thank you, I'll check it out. Wonder if I'll have to remove all those headers I put in now... <grin> -- [[User:Looney Toons|Looney Toons]] ([[User talk:Looney Toons|talk]]) 20:45, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
:::Yup, I will. -- [[User:Looney Toons|Looney Toons]] ([[User talk:Looney Toons|talk]]) 20:50, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
::::Done. -- [[User:Looney Toons|Looney Toons]] ([[User talk:Looney Toons|talk]]) 21:34, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

Vorticity or Geth, could someone take a look at what's happening on [[Cowboy Bebop/Fanfic Recs]], please? The styling for the reflist header on that page -- and that page alone, so far as I've noticed -- is wrong. Thanks. -- [[User:Looney Toons|Looney Toons]] ([[User talk:Looney Toons|talk]]) 20:19, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
: I'm in the middle of debugging an issue on the combination of reference headers and SectionHide -- hold tight a bit. [[User:Vorticity|Vorticity]] ([[User talk:Vorticity|talk]]) 20:23, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
:: No problem. I didn't necessarily mean this very minute, after all. <grin> -- [[User:Looney Toons|Looney Toons]] ([[User talk:Looney Toons|talk]]) 20:25, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
