* ''Don't'' -- [[Video Nasties]]-style Britsploitation [[Screamer Trailer]] directed by [[Edgar Wright]], with Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Matthew McFadyen, [[The League of Gentlemen|Mark Gatiss]], Jason Isaacs and narration by [[Arrested Development (TV series)|Will Arnett]]. The main joke of the trailer is that it's the American trailer for a British horror film, and the distributors, in order to prevent the audience from finding out that it's British, have cut the trailer so that none of the characters are heard speaking and we get no idea of the plot. The name of the trailer was reportedly inspired by Video Nasty ''[[Don't Go in the House]]'', or any number of other films from the late seventies/early eighties "Don't" fad.

* ''[[Hobo with a Shotgun]]'' -- [[Exactly What It Says on the Tin]]. Hobo takes the law into his own hands. Made by a couple of independent filmmakers from [[Canada|Dartmouth, Nova Scotia]]. This one was also [[Defictionalization|turned into]] [[Hobo with a Shotgun|a full-length movie]]. Many other indie trailers were made and considered at the South by Southwest Film Festival, and although this was the one featured in the film, a lot of the others (visible on [[YouTube]]) are pretty good, too.

* [[Food Porn]] - Come on, admit it. If you didn't get a craving for nachos after watching the nacho scene in ''Death Proof'', you're '''lying'''.

* [[Foot Focus]] - Plenty of it, as usual in Tarantino films. It's even [[Lampshaded]].

* [[Good Scars, Evil Scars]]: Stuntman Mike has a large scar running down his face. He's something of a bastard. He also sarcastically claims he [[Cut Himself Shaving]].

* [[Halfway Plot Switch]]: Halfway through, the movie is filmed with a very different style, {{spoiler|with very different characters}}, in a very different place. It was almost like watching a sequel in the middle of the first movie!

* [[Cluster F-Bomb]]: Cherry unleashes a choice one at El Wray

* [[Combat Stilettos]] - Cherry, on her good leg.

* [[The Danza]]: Skip the club owner is played by Skip, Robert Rodriguez' realtor.

Abby (Naveen Andrews, aka Sayid from ''[[Lost]]'') sternly says "Follow me!"; the music starts pumping, you think you're in for the [[Crowning Moment of Awesome]]... and as soon as he peers around the corner, [[Reality Ensues|his head gets blown to pieces.]]}}
