They didn't sound the same to me until I learned they were both Crispin. After watching a few of his anime though, the only time I've ''not'' been able to recognize Crispin's voice was when he played Tabool in ''[[Now and Then Here And There]]''. This was a considerably older anime and he was relatively new to the scene back then, so perhaps his voice changed a little. He was also playing a child in that series which is rare, but it's hard to believe that it was his voice.
