He is also known for having [[Funny Animal]] characters in his works such as Scooby-Doo, Rocket Raccoon and King Shark. He started off by writing the two ''Scooby-Doo'' movies before writing the ''Dawn of the Dead'' remake. He became more well-known for directing ''[[Guardians of the Galaxy (film)|Guardians of the Galaxy]]'', which is considered one of the better [[Marvel Cinematic Universe]] films.
