When Laurel and Jenny return from camp, Jenny is sad that Jordan has deactivated his account.
After Philip reveals to Laurel and Jenny about what happened, Emily breaks down in tears for breaking their friendship pact. She shuts David out, telling him to go away. Just as the baby shower is wrapping up, Pauline comes in and gives Emily a heart-to-heart about keeping secrets. Pauline reveals that she was in the orchestra until new musicians from Juilliard were brought in and Pauline was removed as a result.

When Caroline and Eddie enter the room to see Emily, who has awaken from her fall, she asks where Grace is. Jenny asks if she resembles Emily when she was a baby. Emily confesses that she was adopted and that her biological parents were hit head on by a drunk driver when she was only 10 months old.
