The world and storyline are based in part on [[Celtic Mythology]], specifically the Welsh [[Mabinogion]] and bits of Irish mythology; and is concerned primarily with the conflict between humans and [[The Fair Folk|"Fomors"]]. Unlike many MMORPGs, there is plenty to do besides combat, although it is still an important part of the game.
