*** The worst part about Trunkle is that there's no indication that you have to (let alone the fact that it's even possible) attack the orange in his hair instead of the beast itself.
** The final boss {{spoiler|Cackletta's ghost}} is ridiculous even by final boss standards! You not only begin the fight at 1 HP, but the battle is very likely to begin with you having to quickly dodge her attacks at a frantic pace. Combine that with attacks that require a great sense of timing and do a lot of damage as well as the fact that she can attack multiple times in one turn, and you have yourself a battle where you have to ''earn'' your victory.
** If you're not good at defeating bosses in a quick and timely manner, the Koopalings beginning with Roy can be this because you ''have'' to defeat them in a limited number of turns or else you lose the battle automatically.
** Whichever friend of Jojora's that you pick, it'll end up as this trope. If nothing else for taking too long.
