** There is actually a disadvantage -- for as long as you have a legitimate SIN in the system your real biometric data (fingerprints, DNA, etc.) are also in the system, meaning you have to be very careful not to leave behind physical evidence at crime scenes. SINless people riding the fake SIN train don't have this problem because they effectively can be DNA-matched only ''after'' they've already been arrested.<ref>It doesn't really matter how many names you have for Crime-Scene Fingerprint Match #XYZ if the address for all of them is "1060 West Addison" or equivalent, but a legitimate SIN has to use your real address.</ref>
