* Why would someone like Guillaume Tarrant be sent to a maximum security prison for a crime like destroying a statue? The guy was soft, introverted, and unlikely to cause any problems.
** Short answer? "It's Oz." The show never even pretended to be realistic.
**Guillame Tarrant was not only convicted of destruction of property he was also convicted of concealment of a deadly weapon, which he used to destroy the statue. The weapons charge is what got him sent to Oz**
**How does Frank Urbano avoid Death Row after he murders Augustus Hill?
**If Jazz Hoyt was mentally ill since the age of 6, how come no one knows this until he is sent to Death Row?
**Where the heck is Yuri Kosygin? He was sent to The Hole after trying to kill Stanislofski never to be seen or heard from again.
**Where the heck is Padraig Connolly? He was never seen or heard from again after his bomb turned out to dud.
**How was Padraig Connolly able to get all those parts to make a bomb without causing suspicion?
**In season 4, Bruno Goergen was killed by Johnny Basil/Desmond Mobay by being thrown down the elevator shaft. Later in the same season, Colonel Edward Galson is killed by Enrique Morales by crushing him with the elevator car. How come nobody mentioned Edward Galson's death?
* When Reverend Cloutier went missing from the hospital, why was Oz not put in lock down until he was found? Why didn't anyone smell his decaying body in the kitchen?
