* And the Fandom Rejoiced: Remember the complaining over Persona 1 remake's soundtrack? Atlus heard your complaints. Persona 2's remake lets you pick either the new soundtrack or the PS1 soundtrack.
** It's finally being released in North America. SO MUCH REJOICING.
** Eternal Punishment is coming to the PSP as well, even though I Knew It, YAY!
* AuthorsAuthor's Saving Throw: The North American version of Eternal Punishment is a peculiar example, as it reverted the original Personas characters back to their canonical Japanese surnames. For sake of continuity, however, the characters' first names were left Anglicized. The localization team tried to compensate for this Continuity Snarl by retconning some of the bigger translation goofs; For example, the revelation that "Guido Sardenia" is actually an alias for Guido Kandori, the previous game's antagonist. He's still named Guido, due to Nate and co. retaining their western names, so Eternal Punishment breaks even and just calls him Guido Kandori.
* Complete Monster:
** Okamura is one of the most unlikable characters in the Persona series, even though she isn't completely unsympathetic due to her unrequited love for Jun's father, her actions in the series are just unforgivable
