When Naoto responds, mentioning being scared (reasonable enough, given the situation) and apologizes, Rise and Chie respond with the following statements respectively. {{spoiler|"Of course she was scared!" "She ''is'' a woman!"}} Apparently the reason that it was okay for Naoto to be scared is {{spoiler|her sex}} rather than the fact that most people would be scared out of their minds in the same situation. It's lessened in the English translation of the game by also bringing age into the equation, but the sentiment's still there.
