** Didn't that take place after Will told Elizabeth he'd "better get her back to her fiance" and she stormed off?

** Hell, yes. I hated Will Turner's character for the entire film, but that one moment turned me around completely.

* Jack's drunken monologue.

* Watch Norrington during Jack's hanging -- he's completely stone-faced, and when Elizabeth says it's wrong and her father responds, Norrington doesn't say a word but just looks at his boots. He agrees with her, but as Swann says, "Commodore Norrington is bound by the law".

** And during the same scene, the simple sight of Cotton's parrot, foreshadowing that they've come back for Jack after all.

** That's partly due to the fact that they still didn't stand a chance against the EITC armada without the Dutchman.

* This bit:

** Undercut by Calypso reminding him that ''he has no heart''.

** But he only has no heart because he carved it out and gave it to her, making his line not only very heartwarming, but very literal in an almost disturbing way.

* At the very end of the credits, we see that {{spoiler|Elizabeth kept her word and waited for Will for ten years. And as a bonus, [[Babies Ever After|they have a son now]]}}.

* Philip and Syrena's kiss towards the end, depending on how you interpret the following scene.

* In a strange way (no pun intended), in a scene that mirrors the end of the first film, there's something about the moment when Jack finally gets hold of ''his ship'' that really closes out the movie.

* When {{spoiler|Barbossa}} finally tracks down Blackbeard and {{spoiler|stabs him}} he gets this line...
