You've lumped dozens on works onto one page - could you split them up, please?

Jade hasn't made an edit in two and a quarter years, Rob... it's unlikely she's still active or will read this.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

Ah, well. The page has the "Multiple Works Need Separate Pages" tag now - somebody will get around to it eventually, I hope.

Agiletek (talkcontribs)

Besides that (this really should be on the talk page for the page), just viewing the linked URLs says the comics are all published together, as are the trailers and potentially the short stories. That's three or five "works", certainly not 52.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

In that case, the page needs cleanup, too. Thanks.

When you add categories, please make sure they're relevant

Sorry, but thanks for undoing them.

A bit after the fact, but I see you did do it a third time.

You added the category "CBC" to our pages for Hajimete no Gal and Umi Monogatari. I don't remember either of these shows ever airing on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

At this point, I'm going to have to give you a warning for it, even though the occurrences happened over a year ago. I'm also going to have to ask you to read All The Tropes:How We Do Bans Around Here - not a threat, but rather to point out that we're already being nice and not giving you a tempban immediately.

Please double-check categories before you add them to pages, especially if the categories are abbreviations.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

While I'm pointing things out:

  • "TBS" on All The Tropes is either "Turn-Based Strategy" video games or "Turner Broadcasting System" in Atlanta.
  • "SBS" on All The Tropes is either the trope Super Bowl Special or the UK's Special Boat Service

Neither have anything to do with anime... yet.

Still around?

Image Question

Jade Shauni (talkcontribs)

I was fixing the WikiFauna userboxes when I accidentally upload an image for the WikiHunter, I realize too late that the old image was link incorrectly and I fix it. So, what do I do with the Kraven the Hunter image? File:Kraven-the-Hunter-the-spect.png

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

We'll delete it, in the current sweep of unused copyrighted files.

Speaking of which, I see you've uploaded quite a few copyrighted files and then done nothing with them... They're being deleted. If you need any of the files in the future, let us know the file name and the name of the page that you want to use the file on.

Please use preview

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

Jade, you're starting to litter Recent Changes with dozens of 10- and 20-character edits made over and over to the same page. If you have to stop and look at what you're doing every few keystrokes, please use the Preview button instead of saving and re-editing the page.

Thanks.

quick late correction per templates per heartwarming subpages

Derivative (talkcontribs)

Use the Heartwarming template, not the Sugar Wiki template; this is more due to reducing redundancy, and as well as we have a list of Heartwarming pages without the template, and it doesn't count Sugar Wiki template as filling that need.

Thanks for the help, it's appreciated.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

"and it doesn't count Sugar Wiki template as filling that need."

Mainly because there's a bug in the Sugar Wiki template that I haven't had the time to track down. Please use the more specific templates when they exist - you'll make my life a bit easier.

Jade Shauni (talkcontribs)

There's a heartwarming template? Thanks I didn't know of its existence. So, what about the nightmare fuel pages.

I noticed both the nightmare fuel and heartwarming pages don't have their templates, that's why I was doing what I did.

Derivative (talkcontribs)

The page creator template for Nightmare Fuel has a Darth Wiki template within it, so I imagine you're all clear for that.

The page creator template for Heartwarming has the Heartwarming template.

I'm not blaming you for using Sugar Wiki to clarify, I think it was a very intelligent deduction, hence why I did not correct you at the time, because I myself had either forgotten or was too busy.

I could be wrong about NF, so I might raise that up on @Looney Toons's forum at some point.

When you add categories, please make sure they exist

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

For instance, we don't have a category called "Shōunen Manga" (which I assume would be pronounced "Sho'o'onen Manga" with an extra-extra-long vowel sound), but we do have one called "Shōnen manga".

Likewise, we have Category:FUNimation

Jade Shauni (talkcontribs)

Okay, Robkelk, I'm trying to fix my mess. I guess some of it's from my old edits from some days ago, I'm trying to catch them.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

Thanks.

Please use the work page template when creating work pages

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

Your new page for The Boy Detectives Club (series) was lacking one critical thing because it was created by hand -- the category for the work itself. If you use the boilerplate you get through the ATT Page Creator, oversights like that won't happen.

Also, there's no need for a media type on this page -- and in fact, "(series)" is used to identify live-action TV shows, so it's also the wrong media type. I've renamed/moved the page (and the Trivia subpage) accordingly.

Jade Shauni (talkcontribs)

Okay, thanks, Looney, usually I do try to use the correct templates, I don't know how I mess up on this one. Maybe I click on the wrong template accidentally. :D

Oh, I didn't notice that thing about the "(series)" being used for live-action TV shows. When actually I was talking about the anime and manga. I thought my only problem was that I forgotten how to put the "Needs a better description" template.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

That much, I can help with. I've added the { {Needs More Info} } template to the page for you.

Please move pages, please don't delete and recreate them.

2
Robkelk (talkcontribs)

I see that you created the page "Growing Up Creepie/Recap/S1/E05/ Bug It On", then deleted it and recreated it as "Growing Up Creepie/Recap/S1/E03A/ Bug It On", then deleted that page and recreated it again as "Growing Up Creepie/Recap/S1/E05/Bug It On".

Are you sure you have a name you like, now?

In the future, instead of making multiple copies of a page, please use the "Move" function to rename the existing page. This way, the edit history of the page is retained – our Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike license requires that we keep a record of who made which edits. (In this particular case, you're the only contributor, so we're covered... but other pages might have more than one contributor.)

Jade Shauni (talkcontribs)

I was trying to get rid of the redirects were I made the mistakes (It was cause by me freaking out earlier, mostly stemming that I am having trouble renaming the page), well, I do like the current name now were I was working on the full recap.

Okay, I'll try not to cause too much trouble.

Black Panther (film) Description

2
Jade Shauni (talkcontribs)

So does the description read well? I want to know so I can remove the "It needs a better description" message. Usually, I keep those messages as reminds to fix the description or someone fixes it (which ever comes first). Or much I keep fixing it (I know I shouldn't be posting the same thing). Black Panther (film)

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

It says the work is a film, it says who released the work and when, it has a little bit of a plot synopsis (not enough to qualify as a recap, but enough to give an idea of what the story's about)... It's a bit sparse, but it works.
