*[[Battle Couple]]: Becomes this with Leila by the time of ''Rance X''. While Rick himself initially requested Leila to retire from the Royal Guard upon proposing to her out of fear that she would get seriously harmed during the war with the monsters, Leila refused due to her belief that her feelings as a knight were just as important as her feelings as a woman. Leila's resolve eventually persuaded Rick to give in and gladly continue fighting alongside her.

*[[Beware the Nice Ones]]: He's an absolute Nice Guy off the battlefield, but a terrifying Blood Knight when on it.

*[[Big Brother Mentor]]: Suggested to serve as this to Menad.

*[[Big Damn Heroes]]: Appears alongside various other characters during the battle with Noce in the original ''Rance III'' to weaken him. Rick notably deals much more damage than every other character that does this.
