In that more than once she was surrounded with a swarm of small metal things either scuttling and flying around as her assistants or repairing everything else and using loose spare parts to build more. The unusual part is that she have built in her sleep just one "dingbot Prime" the size of a pocket watch (later another when she lost the first), and those turned out to be caable of creative thinking and [[Recursive Creators|making lesser versions of themselves]]. Later she converted two thinking engines built long ago by her relatives into similar [[chibi]] forms (except those weren't tinkerers, but could talk and had some useful peripherals).
