** [[Les Yay]]: Helen and Ranna. Oh, so very much.

* [[Replacement Scrappy]]: Kate for replacing Ashley though according to [[Word of God]] Ashley just wasn't popular enough which could make Kate a plain old Scrappy. In an additionally blatant case of [[Double Standard|Double Standards]] most of the fans who hate Kate are fangirls who love Tesla.

** Tesla isn't a scrappy. That's thanks to the fact of a character that has more depth than Ashley and Kate put together (bit of stereotypes in themselves) and the great acting of Jonathon Young.

* [[Special Effects Failure]]: As a [[Sci Fi Channel]] original series, the show expectantly runs into this. However, it's not the low-budget CGI (which is surprisingly decent) that does it for fans, but the goofy-looking muscle suit that the lead actor wears when he's turned into a hulking freak.

* [[They Changed It, Now It Sucks]]: The reaction of some fans to the new opening theme.
