One character thinks that his yearly battle against a nature spirit is all that keeps... something bad from happening. Except that the enemy is the Spirit of [[Humans Are Bastardsthe Real Monsters|Nature Getting Beaten by Civilization]], so it uses this trope as a power source for an empathetic attack on humanity.
