* Although the series has since gained it'sits own identity, the very first ''[[Ratchet & Clank|Ratchet and Clank]]'' game can be considered a successor to Rare's ''[[Jet Force Gemini]]'', as both games follow very similar plot points; a hero travels across the galaxy fighting to stop the villain, they have a ton of destructive weapons at their disposal to accomplish that task, and both feature a robotic companion that was created by the antagonist but ends up siding with the good guys.
