Nearly every TV show that has a [[Studio Audience]] but isn't a [[Sit ComSitcom]] has an announcer. [[The Announcer]] has several duties:
 
* Deliver opening and closing spiels for the show.
* Introduce the host, contestants and/or celebrity guests.
