  • Acceptable Targets: Black and Jewish stereotypes are played purely for comedy, although the film is clearly laughing with them, not at them.
    • And of course, American Christian stereotypes are out in force as well, though with quite a bit more snark behind the jokes.
  • Genius Bonus: Carver uses the Jewish system of dating years (see also the bottle of liquor he smashes over a guy's head in the Nazi bar).
