Judas Iscariot here is a terrorist who dreams that Jesus is a Warrior Prophet and sells him out to prevent the Jews (and himself) from being wiped out by Rome. Pontius Pilate is an anti-Semitic bureaucrat, but his nature does not stop him from seeing truth in Jesus' words.
