Lunch break, in the cafeteria the Middlington Middle School students are enjoying their lunch, until Budge came in and stole all of the maple syrup for his lunch. Minutes later, he asked to buy one of the hats from Chris-Alice and didn't pay for the $2 hat (The cheery girl assumes that Budge will pay her later and tells him so).
Later on that day, Creepie was getting stuff from her locker and was preparing to go home, when the zombies are keeping inviting her to "join us" in the Karaoke. She and Gnat follows their peers down the basement cellar, where they found the missing maple syrups, cocoons, and what their friends are up to: They were using the syrup to cook up an concoction to feed the Mother Wasp.
The Creechur siblings then barges in the chanting, inquiring what's going on. Which was a rather unwise choice since Creepie's former friends decided to chase her, and she was determined to find a way to free them from their slavery.
No matter where Creepie and Gnat goes, the middle school halls are filled with wasp zombies, chatting "Creepie!" Until they go to the cafeteria hall where the Karaoke festival will be held, they were about to evacuate and take Chris-Alice with them, but it turns out that she's also a wasp zombie. Soon the cafeteria became over riddle with zombies and they surround the goth girl.
