Finally, they're both aware of Touma's memory loss and have been forgotten by him, {{spoiler|but while Ayu has the potential to form a new relationship with him, Misaki can never be with him since he can never form new memories of her}}. The similarities and differences are lampshaded by both characters and by the author.
