* Anyone who is very skilled at a particular video game is regarded as some sort of godly superhuman at best and a total loser with no life outside of that game at worst.

** If you play a game with a rating below the one you're in (playing an E game when you're 17+) you're an immature Man Child, completely ignoring that these games can be fun at any age (similar to how a G-rated movie must be for children only). The only genres that are not subjected to this are sports games and racing games. Hell on the Station 3 the only E rated games left are sports games that aren't contact sports and racing games.

It might be worth noting here that pretty much the only people playing E-Rated games these days are over 17, and even then probably only if they grew up playing them as a child. For the most part, kids these days won't touch anything not Rated "M" for Manly. All those other games are apparently just faggy kiddy crap for babies.
* FanGirls. All fangirls are automatically hysterical, obsessive, semi-literate, 13-year-olds who will never get a boyfriend. No exceptions. Hey, it's the Internet, so anyone can claim to be a rational adult leading a normal life. A group of people have an interest in something you don't understand or think is dumb? "Well, they're just silly little fangirls. Of course they'd be into that."
** Yaoi Fangirls: Destroying every fanbase's intelligence since Final Fantasy 7. Of course, Yuri Fanboys don't get the same treatment because, well, this trope. Look up "Rule 34" on Google Images, and you'll find that almost all outrage at the Rule 34 images is toward Male/Male and never Female/Female. This may also be partly due to yaoi being more prominent and the fangirls being (seemingly) more vocal. Not to say the Double Standard is justified by this, it's just a possible reason for it.

* In the Hamish And Dougal episode "the Vampire of the Glen", there's a gag about "Count Cardula (|Dramatic Accordian Sting) ... the accordian player" who tortured people by playing the accordian at them.
