Tropes cannot be copyrighted, but expressions of tropes can be copyrighted - and the Creative Commons license that TV Tropes offers their text isn't compatible with our Creative Commons license. What we need to do is take the fundamental idea and re-state it in a completely different way - not a sentence-for-sentence re-write of what's at TVT, but a completely different approach.
