If you've stumbled upon this site, you might be asking, "How are you different from TV Tropes, other than the slightly olddifferent content?" This site is what is referred to in the software community as a "fork" -- a point where we decided to go a different direction from the original site. It's a major undertaking, so we should explain the reasons why we built this site.
