It was launched in 2006 and is still ongoing. People audition to win $1,000,000 and (since Season 3) a one-year contract to do a show in Las Vegas. Performers go in front of three judges equipped with buzzers, if all three judges buzz then the act will end prematurely. The show has been hosted by Regis Philbin (Season 1), Jerry Springer (Seasons 2 and 3), and Nick Cannon (Season 4 onward); and the judges are: |
