- Fridge Horror: Arnold getting carried off by a bird is darkly humorous, until you think about Tommy's "what do am I supposed do now?" Who else does a guy like Tommy have?
- Detroit Loves Arnold: The strip was very popular in Detroit, where it was published in Free Press until the very end.
- Too Good to Last: Very much ahead of its time. If it started 10-15 years later it might have had more success.
