* The Oddworld games have shades of this. The save the environment aesop being essentially the point of the entire series. A proof that Tropes Are Not Bad in that even if one finds the whole thing heavy-handed it tends to be presented in an entertaining fashion.
* The Last Resurrection portrays Jesus (the game's final boss) as being personally responsible for crusades, inquisitions, witch-burnings and even Nazism; during the ending sequence the heroes conclude that world peace will not be achieved until all religions are abolished. It's a long-shot, but there's a small chance that the designer might not be too keen on organised religion.
* The Iron Fortress arc in Epic Battle Fantasy 5 throws jabs at clueless extremist political activists and the terrible culture of mistrust and division they create: Lance assembles an army of sycophants under an unironically fascistic ideology and plans to save humanity by conquering the world and prepare it against a hypothetical alien invasion that's largely considrered a baseless conspiracy theory but turns out to be mostly true and even an understatement; people from nearby villages suffering frequent attacks from Lance's men become paranoid, examplified by Anna who suspects Matt of being a fascist because he has blonde hair and immediatly tries to kill him; and of course there are ineffectual protestors who think reminding everyone that fascism is bad or screaming accusations of fascism at bystanders will accomplish something. Lance's accuracy and evade steroid item being called "red pill" cannot be a mere coincidence either.
