Hello FlashRebel!

We instituted moderation of posts as a result of the Great Miraheze Spam Flood that affected multiple wikis in December 2020. Most people's edits and image uploads will not appear immediately, the way that they would on Wikipedia... but, now, yours will - no more waiting for a moderator to approve your edits.

This is a privilege given for consistently good edits and being a Troper in good standing, not a right. Congratulations!

Some of your Real Life commentary needs to calm down a bit.

Your remarks on One Angry Gamer could stand to let less bitter hate seep through and just stick to facts, we'd prefer not to get sued for libel. Link evidence for potential contentious claims if you need to.

The simple fact that access to One Angry Gamer is constantly blocked for nebulous reasons makes it hard to link to it. A measure to protect against online attacks according to error messages - although I have my doubts about the true purpose behind this "protection". If anyone can access the site, the article about the Borderlands 3 DLC being SJW propaganda because gay marriage, or the doomsaying article filled to the brim with needless sexual jokes about how Mortal Kombat 11's Jade redesign is not sexy enough and it's a disaster for the entire industry and gaming culture, should speak volumes.

Also look through the guy 's Twitter feed, it's pretty telling.

Archive.is is your friend, then.

And yes, I'm well aware of his alarmist writings, but pro-tip, if you have to explain why it's bad instead of allowing the cringe to speak for itself, you are not being objective, and if your case can be made without letting your emotions seep into your writing (and they can be held in check and OAG still looks like cringe from where I'm sitting), then you have a good chance of people believing you came to the right conclusion without a personal bias.

"Archive" is the Wayback Machine at https://archive.org/ - not only is it useful for providing links to blocked sites, it's also useful for showing how something was on a site on one day but was removed from the site on a later day.

I think that all Tropers should add the site to their favorites or bookmarks... but that's just my opinion.
